Riley Brian, M.D. is currently a general surgery resident with the UCSF Department of Surgery. He attended college at Harvard majoring in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and minoring in History of Science, followed by medical school at the University of Chicago where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor medical societies.

Dr. Brian studies medical and surgical education. His research focuses on optimizing feedback, asynchronous learning, and communication. He is interested in trauma surgery.
